Advisory process for corporate insurance customers

Brief description

New development of software for supporting consultation with corporate customers in the insurance sector. The application contains a selection of company-specific insurance products. During the consultation, standardized questions are used to determine the company or businessman's needs. The project includes support in specifying the functional requirements, creating implementation documents, setting up the basic architectures, implementation, testing and creating test cases.

The main focus of the design and implementation of the application is on modern user interfaces, a high level of user-friendliness, interactivity, and hardware independence. The object oriented JavaScript framework Cappuccino is therefore being used for the implementation. An important project goal is the integration of the consulting software in the existing CRM system. This includes both integration of existing functions in the workflow of the consultation process and central storage of the data collected and used. This context-specific data (e.g. company master data or existing safeguards) is entered together with the customer and enables optimum consultancy results from the customer's point of view.

Subject description

The customer orientation is an essential success factor in the context of selling insurance products. To provide corporate customers with optimum, needs-oriented advice, the fundamental company data is first recorded, including the existing safeguards. In addition to the questionnaire on the individual categories, the basis for determining the individual need for company-specific insurance products is provided by a wealth of background information about the risks to be covered and the appropriate products. The consultation is industry-specific. All information recorded during the talks can be documented in electronic form for both the customer's and the consultant's use, if the customer consents. The workflow is kept flexible, so that aspects can be added or omitted at any time during the conversation. This improves the quality of the consultation and leads to higher efficiency and a smaller expenditure of time.
