Analysis of excess quantities/shortages as an extension to network usage software

This IT project is part of our digitalization and optimization of our customers’ IT landscape. Brief description

Analysis of an existing application for managing power network usage messages, in accordance with the best practice recommendations from the organization committee of the associations of the electricity market, as well as analysis of an enhancement concept for processing excess quantities/shortages messages from IS-U and forwarding to the settlement system.

Supplement

An existing detailed specification is analyzed and open questions are identified. The code and data of an existing application must be investigated in part in order to check the effects of the planned enhancement.

Subject description

Power traders and suppliers use the network operators' existing electricity and gas networks to supply their customers. The network operators have to guarantee access to the grid to other power providers, in accordance with the energy sector laws. Network operators can demand network usage fees for these services.
