Broker portal on Windows Terminal Server

Brief description
Porting of a customer management and rating system implemented as an individual workstation solution for independent insurance brokers in a Windows Terminal Server environment and replacement of the local legacy application. This also includes migrating legacy data to a new database. The new application results in standardization in the individual workstation environment and in the WTS environment.
Supplement
The existing software is adjusted so that it can be used by multiple users and can run on a Windows Terminal Server. The application is based on a PostGreSQL database. The legacy data from the old system is migrated automatically to the new system with the help of suitable software and without intervention by the user. One important aspect of the further development is the use of existing standard interfaces implemented in XML or COM technology for database access and service dialogs.
Subject description
The new development of the customer management and rating system as an individual workstation solution is aimed at safeguarding and reinforcing sales of various insurance products through independent insurance brokers. This system was designed to strengthen relations between independent brokers and the group; by porting the system to the WTS environment, relations will become even closer.
