Continuous development of a decentralized application for order processing

Brief description
An existing .NET application for decentralized order processing in an international trading group is to be further improved and accelerated. New information is drawn from the inventory control system via web service and usability improvements are made. In addition, an autosave function is implemented to reduce the risk of data loss in the event of system failures.
Supplement
A desktop application with .NET Framework 4.7 with data storage in an Oracle database is being further developed. WCF web services for access to the merchandise management system are also being further developed. The application uses a mixture of WinForms and WPF interfaces. Technical concepts were drawn up as well as their implementation was carried out.
Subject description
In the application, the orders for a trading company are recorded decentrally and passed on to a central application for consolidation. To determine the necessary order quantities, various information from the inventory management such as stocks, sales quantities etc. are taken into account.
