Conversion of SAP-XML to PDF

Brief description
Transformation of an XML dataflow from SAP BW in PDF. During the transformation, formatting information of the layout to be created is taken into account. These are transferred in an XSL-FO template along with the display data to Apache FOP for PDF generation.
Supplement
Data is transferred as a data flow to a Java servlet. The formatting information it contains defines the basic layout of a page. This includes page dimensions, for example. Based on these details, and the number of columns and lines for the table to be transformed, a calculation is performed to determine how many lines/columns can be displayed per page. Based on this calculation, table data is placed on corresponding pages as the basis for PDF generation.
