Creating a prototype to integrate Java into Oracle Forms

Brief description
The task of this project is to learn about the mechanisms and approaches for integrating the Java programming language into the Oracle Forms world, and to display these using a prototype.
Supplement
The prototype is based on Oracle Forms technology. From this basis a Forms screen is to be created in the project; this screen shall contain both Forms and Java GUI elements (swing components). The JavaBeans used here are developed using Eclipse. A database-assisted search of the literature provides the prototype with a suitably practice-oriented framework.
Subject description
The functional background is the upcoming conversion of standard software which currently runs on the basis of ORACLE Forms. The runtime environment is to be converted to license-free Java technology in the medium to long-term.
