Developing a web-based front-end framework (JSF)

Brief description
Creating a web-based front-end framework that allows a dialog system to be efficiently developed. Essential core functions are the general dialog control via a toolbar and menu, uniform user guidance regarding the transaction behavior, and uniform specifications for the design of the interface and usage specifications of the GUI libraries.
Supplement
In addition to the JSF technology, the framework is based on the functions from SEAM and uses the JSF components from the Trinidad library. With the definition of the interface and the manner in which the GUI elements are represented in the code, a certain part of the GUI functionality can be stored centrally and thus once. This uniformity promotes efficiency in new development and in maintenance.
Subject description
In large projects, the portion of developing a front-end framework is often significantly underestimated. A large number of libraries does provide a nearly incomprehensible amount of functionalities. Nevertheless, it is the uniform application of these libraries that enables efficient development. Therefore, such a framework is essential for developing the EuroMistral transport management system.
