Development and maintenance of an insurance platform

This IT project is part of our digitalization and optimization of our customers’ IT landscape. Through targeted measures, we promote technological progress, optimize cross-system processes and create a sustainable basis for future developments. Our IT reference projects serve as a basis for orientation. They support the reusability of tried and tested concepts as part of project implementation.

Brief description

Further development of a core insurance system in the life insurance sector. PTA carries out the functional enhancement and error correction in the existing processes.

Supplement

Due the replacement of the legacy system and as a result of the implementation of new products and regulatory requirements, the functionality of the insurance platform needs to be continously extended. The development activities include client-side front- and backend development based on a rich client platform, with a frontend based on SWT.

Subject description

The insurance system is an all-lines system for the administration of property, health and life insurance. It supports the employees in the conclusion of insurance contracts and in the processing of business cases. In addition, the customer has the option to forecat the development of a particular insurance policy via an online application.
