Development and support of an insurance CRM with pricing functions
Brief description
The existing pricing application as CRM system offers brokers / agents the possibility to create offers for insurance products. The application can be accessed via a web portal. The project activity includes administration, further development and support of the application and the portal.
Supplement
The application is available in two versions. On the one hand it runs on the client computer as a DVD installation and on the other hand as an online available Windows Terminal Server version, which is streamed via Citrix to the client computer. Different databases are used: SQLite3 for the local version and PostGreSQL for the WTS version. The application is implemented in C# (.Net 4.0 ). There are interfaces to central components, mainly COM components (C++). The non-central tariffing modules are connected to the application and can be called from it. The WTS version is made available to users via a web portal (ASP.NET based on an MS SQL Server database) or called directly by partner portals. It supports different clients/roles. The web portal includes user administration and authentication via SSO. There are interfaces to other portals and web services.
Subject description
The application for customer and process management is on the one hand a CRM system that holds data on persons and insurance offers. On the other hand, rating modules are linked so that it is possible to calculate insurance offers as a rating application. As a by-product, it offers a different sales channel for the customer, including the customer's cooperation partners. The users are therefore not insurance representatives in the conventional sense, but secondary professional representatives, brokers, broker advisors and external partners (above all banks).
