Digitised processing of enquiries and tenders

The application to be developed consists of a front end and a back end. In the web-based frontend, requests or tenders for food assortments are read in and forwarded to the backend via a REST-ful interface. Using search mechanisms (normalization, tokenizing) in the article database, suitable articles from the assortment are identified in the backend for each requested article. The article database is a NoSQL database, MongoDB, in which the data is stored in JSON format. JavaScript frameworks (React, Redux, Bootstrap) are used to create the frontend, and the backend is based on Java and Spring (Boot). The development is agile according to Scrum. The PTA provides the complete Scrum team. Our IST-QB certified test managers ensure the quality of the application on the one hand and verify the quality of the search on the other hand and make it assessable using metrics.
