Brief description
A middleware, which is used in medical practices, is extended by a component for secure digital networking among medical practioners. The application is a web service written in C# and is used under the Mono framework.

The activity includes both the implementation of the requirements and the coordination of the work on site with the remote colleagues. This requires an increased communication effort.
Subject description
The extension of the application includes several specialized applications as well as the connection to an own PKI. For this purpose, the user is enabled to generate and sign his own certificates, which he can use to sign his own documents. The specialized applications that will be implemented are the validation and dispatch of the electronic certificate of incapacity to work, the electronic doctor's letter, the medication module and other applications. All applications use the latest encryption for secure data transmission.
