Brief description
For the recording of greenhouse gas emissions, the existing complex process is to be simplified and improved by the improvement of individual software by PTA. The cloud-based application will enable the user to record various emissions for all Uniper power plants. The application is made up of a .NET5 backend and a Vue.js-based frontend. The application is part of a microservice architecture hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. An MS SQL database in Azure serves as the database.

An MSSQL database in Azure serves as the database. Furthermore, Azure Webjobs/Azure Function apps, which load data from external sources, complement the functionality of the application. PTA is responsible for the development of the individual software.
Subject description
Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are one of the most important issues for power plant operators. Therefore, it is of high strategic value for both the company and all stakeholders to regularly monitor, report, and review GHG emissions from all our operations and to improve and increase reporting of climate-related financial information. The application is also the data base for the annual EU ETS (European Emission Trading Scheme) reporting.
