Brief description
Re-engineering an evaluation application for error data analysis in a foundry. An existing MS Access application that evaluates error data in a foundry is restructured, optimized and re-implemented.
Supplement
The following objectives are set: improving the code quality, using ADO technology instead of DAO, using a PDF server instead of a PDF writer that has to be installed separately, calendar functions without the VBX calendar module from MS, performance improvements, etc.
Subject description
The error data for the foundry is first evaluated according to the following considerations: material scrap and reconditioning. The following reports are created: hit list, error distribution, Excel bar charts.
