The project consists of functionally expanding an existing inventory management system and analyzing and correcting production errors.

The system used by the customer is a completely self-created, custom piece of software. Oracle Forms or Reports and PL/SQL are used in the development. Individual sub-projects first require a requirements analysis, which leads into a cost estimate. After the cost estimate is confirmed by the customer, the actual implementation occurs. A special hotline tool is used to manage the ongoing production errors. The customer and developer have access to the hotline tool so that the status of the reported errors can be viewed and changed at any time.
Subject description
The inventory management system used reflects the complete warehouse logistics. This includes the incoming goods, any transport of goods within the warehouse, and the outgoing goods. In addition, there are numerous interfaces to external systems, whereby receipts and issues of goods can be automatically generated, for example. Additional features of the system are client capability and multilingual capability.
