Expanding two logistics applications to include the option of combining suppliers

In the software systems of an internationally operating retail company, a new function is developed to make it possible to combine collection of goods from multiple suppliers into one virtual transaction, for one specific logistics type. This is useful, in particular, for suppliers that are located very close to one another.
