Brief description
The customer company will be subject to frequent organizational changes in the future due to general economic conditions. In terms of data technology, these adjustments are initiated by the SAP system and must be reflected promptly in all key IT systems. An existing data interface between SAP and the downstream central consolidation instance for personal data is to be adapted for processing future effective changes.
Supplement
Information is provided by SAP via a specially protected processing path and received cyclically via .NET interface. This triggers suitable functionalities of SQL Server-based data management for efficient and high-performance processing. The technical process developed and supported by PTA is adapted by an extended range of functions of the interface.
Subject description
The existing data interface processes adjustments directly, so that advance planning of upcoming changes (e.g. creation of new or deletion of existing organizational units incl. transfer of persons) is not supported. This requirement is to be implemented by including temporal validities in the technical processing process.
