Further development and maintenance of a regional search engine for care facilities
Project duration: 3 years, 8 months
Brief description
Step-by-step further development of an implemented web site to search regionally for medical care services and care facilities. The further development includes importing and displaying additional information reports and quality seals, geocoding the facility addresses at the time of import and implementing a password guideline. Recording of voluntary self-reported information from the facilities is also optimized.
Supplement
The application is based on a three-layer, service-oriented architecture. The development is carried out in ASP.NET with C#, based on the .NET 3.5 framework. The application is implemented as a modular and extendable Internet application. It is possible for the operator of the care facility to input and maintain facility-relevant information using an additional web site. In a back office application, the service provider data transmitted by the operator in the HCS standard (hospital communication system) is imported into the application.
