Brief description
The project tasks include further development of the existing inventory management system, analyzing and correcting errors and creating evaluations of the data stock.
Supplement
The system to be maintained is a software product whose source code was purchased by the company and was comprehensively adjusted to the customer’s individual requirements; as such, it can be considered individual software. The system is developed with Oracle Forms and PL/SQL. Evaluations are carried out by means of SQL scripts. The project task is the result of error messages in the context of the customer’s change request process, as well as minor internal projects. For internal projects, there is a requirements analysis and conceptual design before they are implemented.
Subject description
The inventory management system to be processed handles all common insurance categories, such as liability, vehicle, accident or property insurance, as well as specialist categories such as electronics or transport. The insurance company acts as a broker insurer on the market. As such, one of the focuses of the administrative functions within the inventory management system is managing brokers.
