GDV record type generator
Project duration: 1 year, 10 months
Brief description
Data is exchanged between insurance companies and insurance brokers on the basis of the data record types developed for this purpose by the GDV (German Insurance Association). The customized software used previously is to be replaced by a new, enhanced solution in order to cover all the data to be delivered and increase the ease of software maintenance.
Supplement
The project task includes a full clarification of the functional requirements and replanning the architecture of the software solution. The aim is to provide interface functions for converting data for individual insurance contracts in the GDV data format as per the GDV specifications. In order to achieve seamless integration in the existing overall system, the project is implemented in PL/SQL.
Subject description
The following record types included in the "Insurance broker manual" for insurance categories are planned for conversion: vehicle, liability, accident, household contents, glass, building, legal protection, fire, technical insurance and transport, as well as the general record types for address, contract and debt collection data.
