Graphical scheduling for a transport logistics system: further development I

This IT project is part of our digitalization and optimization of our customers’ IT landscape. Through targeted measures, we promote technological progress, optimize cross-system processes and create a sustainable basis for future developments. Our IT reference projects serve as a basis for orientation. They support the reusability of tried and tested concepts as part of project implementation.

Brief description

After the successful introduction of the graphical scheduling for the EuroMistral transport logistics system, additional requirements arising from the practical user experience are implemented.

Supplement

The project has the following objectives: coexistent scheduling tool, replacement of the Cobol interface, simpler scheduling using drag & drop, interface is more user-friendly and functional.

Subject description

GUI changes; new application title; new user management; definable column width, topic manager; alternative browser; individual view of the quadrants; new status bar; number of selected orders; display of the hazardous materials items; functional changes/expansions; entry of the host name; authorization management; expansion of the filter function; advice note sent multiple times by e-mail; marking of shipments/park function.
