Host EDI interface

The EDI manager and its platform has to be changed for Y2K compatibility reasons (from RS6000 on HP(-UX)). Due to the platform change, the system logic between the EDI manager and MVS has to be fundamentally changed (shared CICS resources). Data transfer between platforms is implemented by a customer-specific data transmission system. The event-controlled integration of the data is designed via MQSeries (IBM). A customer-specific product is adjusted and implemented as the data transmission management system. The interface between this system and the business applications is formed by message queues.
