Implementation of a new accident insurance product: Group accident for companies

The IT system of 'Group accident' consists of several Mirco backends, services provided by the customer and a front-end component, which run in different cloud environments. The cloud environment used by the team is OpenShift from RedHat. The backends are written with Java and SpringBoot. The frontend is based on a current version of Angular with a state management system called ngRx, which is based on Redux. The development workflow consists of working with GIT and code reviews or pair programming. Deployment via the various cloud stages is handled by an automated Jenkin pipeline, which ensures the correct functioning of the application. The PTA mainly supports the implementation of the application. Other tasks include checking the technical specifications, deployments for development and production, monitoring production, coaching new team members and presentations and demos for the various stakeholders.
