Implementation of an editor for JSON configuration files
Brief description
Complex JSON files are created for the configuration of a sample preparation robot. Creating and editing complex JSON files in text format is very time-consuming and error-prone. For this reason, an editor is implemented in which the content of the JSON elements can be defined in a user-friendly way and the creation of the JSON syntax is automated.
Supplement
As part of the project, the desktop application is to be developed on the basis of the Angular framework and the TypeScript scripting language. Electron is required to manage the files and launch the desktop application. The programming tool is provided by Visual Studio Code. The development of the application, customer consulting, requirement engineering and project management are handled by PTA. Customization is carried out by PTA in the event of errors or additional extensions by the customer.
Subject description
The customer can use the finished desktop application to define the technical content of the configuration. A JSON file is generated in the correct format when saving. The JSON files can be loaded, edited and saved again as JSON files. You can specify which elements are to be displayed and how they are to be arranged in the form of groups. Some of the elements can be reused. It is possible to manage the reusable elements, which can be filtered according to technical criteria.
