Integration of test mode / road editor for route planning and freight cost calculation
Project duration: 3 months
Brief description
Further development of an application for freight cost calculation for delivery of raw materials. Using the application, the transportation channels for agricultural products from the grower to the factory are planned and the corresponding freight costs are determined.
Supplement
The newly-developed additional test mode creates the option, in addition to the standard calculation, to assign individual street segments that allow more detailed and improved route planning in order to determine freight costs with significantly greater precision (standard software: PTV Map-Server 5).
Subject description
During route planning, it must be possible to set restrictive attributes (also for small roads and field tracks) such as hazardous goods / water hazard / block truck + truck over 28 t / height /width / length / weight / axle load and to evaluate route legs with plus and minus points. These attributes are known to the corresponding processor and can also be set in real time for all other street types (unlike the standard).
