Interface for updating the customer master data of an order entry system

Brief description
Interface for automated customer updating between an order entry system, a customer management system and SAP R/3. The aim of the further development is to forward sales orders to SAP R/3 under certain conditions without manual intervention. The order entry system is responsible for communicating, managing and checking customer updates.
Supplement
This interface is realized in VC++ 6.0 just like the order entry system and manages the data in a MS SQL Server 2000 database. Communication with SAP R/3 is carried out via an RFC interface, which is addressed from VC++ by a proxy class. The data exchange with the customer management system, on the other hand, takes place via an interface program provided.
Subject description
If an order is entered for a customer whose customer number has not yet been activated in SAP R/3 as an invoice or goods recipient, the order entry system initiates a status change in the customer management system. This change is then forwarded directly from the customer management system to SAP R/3. The new interface in the order entry system then checks cyclically for a status change of the customer in SAP R/3 to automatically release the order for further processing.
