Introducing graphical scheduling for a transport logistics system

Brief description
The graphical “Four-Quadrant Scheduling” developed in Java is introduced at a first pilot customer. This scheduling software is used to schedule the orders recorded in the core module in transport orders.

The project has the following objectives: expanding and adapting the system landscape; coexistent use with the traditional scheduling; correct use of functionalities; training/error management.
Subject description
The application is used by the schedulers and dispatchers of a consolidated cargo carrier. The introduction first requires integration into the system landscape and the commissioning of a JBOSS server. For the users, the views and default filters are constructed and assigned in the profiles. Training is provided for new functionalities.
