Brief description
Introduction of an online shop including connection of a warehouse location in other EU countries (operated by a service provider with its own warehouse management system) to SAP Retail.
Supplement
Stock replenishment via vendors. Stock replenishment for stores using stock transport orders including internal clearing. Delivery processing (stock posting, goods issue) for online shop orders. Billing to the end customer of the online shop, internal billing, since sales to end customers of the online shop are cross-company code sales.
Subject description
Implementation/rollout of the online shop including the necessary connection to an external warehouse management system (WMS) in other European countries. The link between the external WMS and SAP Retail was established using EDI messages, which are exchanged using a converter. The connection between the online shop and SAP Retail was also carried out using EDI messages, which are exchanged using a converter. This made it possible to process sales orders, deliveries and billing documents.
