Introduction of IT systems for an energy trader

Brief description
Functional and technical analysis, quality assurance, testing and advising internal employees on the introduction of the standard energy industry software iOPT and an individually developed order portal connected via interfaces.
Supplement
The application systems to be implemented / developed further involve standard software and especially developed applications. A central component of the system landscape is the power trading system. The iOPT from iRM is used for this. Standard software will also be selected and implemented to optimize gas procurement. The ordering systems that transfer the orders to the power trading system are implemented as custom developments. These are (Internet-capable) Java applications that run on an Oracle WebLogic application server and use an Oracle database.
Subject description
Whilst managing the project, PTA's tasks consist of supporting the analysis, data processing design, quality assurance and testing for the components of the ordering and procurement systems. PTA also provides application support for the components introduced in productive operations.
