Inventory management for oils and grists

Brief description
An inventory management system is developed for an oil mill in order to manage silo and tank inventories (raw goods, grits, oils).
Supplement
Short-term stock-taking is performed. The differences are used to derive transaction data, which are then reconciled against the shipping data from the processing systems and the inward movements from production.
Subject description
The inward movements from production (continuous processes) cannot be measured, so production quantities need to be deduced from inventory alterations. Oils and grists are produced during processing of the raw goods (soy, canola, sunflowers). In addition, citric acid is added to the process.
