Brief description
Designing and implementing the integration of Lotus Notes as the standard e-mail client in the agency management and information system. This primarily involves creating suitable operating element or user interfaces in the existing sales software. The task also includes setting up organizational issues for supporting technical functions (e.g. mapping of mailbox organization).
Supplement
In order to integrate the Lotus Note e-mail software, adjustments need to be made to the user interfaces or operating elements of the agency management and information system; these adjustments are implemented with Delphi in Object Pascal. A Sybase SQL Anywhere database is responsible for data storage. Furthermore, C++ and Lotus Script are used to implement the business process logic.
Subject description
Electronic data exchange between customers and sales representatives is becoming more and more important in handling a wide variety of business cases. The resultant need to improve and optimize the communication process between customers and sales representatives is satisfied by integrating Lotus Notes as the standard e-mail program in the agency management and information system. This gives sales representatives the option of sending documents by e-mail from the sales software itself and allocating incoming e-mails to the customer directly in the system, as well as storing these e-mails with customer data.
