The 'Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft (BDEW)' has decided on changes to market communication as of 01.10.2022, which will entail comprehensive adjustments to processes. The customer's systems must be adapted accordingly. The customer will be faced with further developments of the master data application, the system for sending metered values and the system for recording incoming documents. Finally, the issues will be handed over to the customer's internal IT department.

Subject description
The Edifact formats for INVOIC / REMADV / PRICAT / COMDIS and MSCONS are adapted by BDEW and their processing by the market partners is extended. Successive processing using decision tree diagrams for INVOIC and MSCONS will be implemented in the incoming document entry system. In it, checks are made against price sheets transmitted by the network operator to the customer as supplier in PRICAT format, the information of which is kept in the master data application. The INVOIC invoice is extended by Other invoices (used for billing of reactive power). The response to INVOIC invoices using REMADV will be extended to include responses at header, item and total levels. The COMDIS message format will be provided as a potential response message to the INVOIC / ORDERS / PRICAT / MSCONS / UTILMD market formats.
