A setup routine is provided to enable the easy installation of support for the Sales Information System on a user’s notebook. The MSDE instance is set up and connected to a preconfigured initial database. Two new function blocks are available in the existing application: “Manage users” and “Create initial database file”. The latter consists of the creation of individualized, preconfigured initial database of the current user. With the existing authorization system, these two function blocks are only visible to central support. The managing SAP system is replaced. To process the current customer stock manually and save it in the correct import, an Excel template is used. Various SQL scripts are provided to check the central database.
Subject description
The existing sales information system will be expanded with simple user management and additional functions for initializing the environment for the users. A manual data import is also enabled.
