Migration Intranet tool to control ActiveDirectory group memberships

Brief description
For several years, the customer has been using an intranet tool developed by PTA GmbH to control access to network drives, which are used to store technical project-specific information. This enables project managers to grant, withdraw or switch between read and write access to project staff independently and within a few minutes. The tool, which is based on MS ASP WebForms, is functionally extended and converted to the use of ASP MVC5.

In addition to adapting the look and feel of the application, the following functional additions are made: the existing methodology for controlling representation situations is extended to the extent that, in addition to personal overall representation, project (directory / AD group-specific) representations are also made possible. In addition, possibilities are offered for the automated application of new project directories (AD groups) or the assumption of responsibility for existing directories via an interface to the ITSM / SAP approval procedure. For this purpose, a self-created Web Service with SAP connection via SAP Connector for Microsoft .NET 3.0 (NCo 3.0) is used.
Subject description
The existing system and its extension serve an efficient and timely implementation of IT requirements. The implementation relieves IT application staff of standard tasks and enables them to concentrate more on the content and security aspects of IT applications. The processing time for IT applications in this context is significantly reduced by this procedure.
