Online reporting for gas trading

Brief description
Specification and implementation of real-time monitoring of quantities and monetary values of transactions in gas and oil trading to enable controlling of trading activities across portfolios and goods with the Endur standard software for an energy trader.
Supplement
In order to plan purchasing, gas and oil traders in an energy trading company require up-to-date overviews of the quantities that still need to be procured for the individual portfolios. These portfolio-specific views are compiled together with the traders and implemented as prototypes in APM (Active Position Manager) and RTPE (Real-Time Position Engine) or created as Excel templates. The following Endur functions are used for the online reporting: RTPE for quantity balances and APM for calculating margins and for displaying quantities as simulation results.
Subject description
Risk requirements and existing contracts mean that numerous portfolios have to be balanced at the end of the day. In order to achieve this, the gas traders need a constantly updating view of the state of their portfolios. Furthermore, the individual trader's target quantities should be displayed and constantly updated.
