Petroleum shipping system
Project duration: 1 year
Brief description
In-house development using the ABAP Development Workbench for the administrative processing of petroleum shipping, with master data management, accounting, shipping papers, settlement, checking, contingents and authorizations, as well as interfaces for technical shipping (fuel tank trucks, rail shipping).
Supplement
The overall project involves a complete replacement of a Legacy system for shipping for a refinery, with the transportation and rail control systems for arriving trains and fuel tank trucks, computer-controlled filling, taking and evaluating readings, hazardous materials and shared loading testing, posting quantities, writing shipping documents, managing contingents and load masters, managing master data (vehicles, shippers, plants, products, etc.) and settlement with partners.
