Supporting the selection of a software system for production planning and control in extreme job production.

The Triton 3.1 PPS system currently used is to be replaced by a new ERP system because the manufacturer no longer maintains either the application software or the RDBMS. In addition to the technical functions, special features include the interfaces with SAP R/3 and with the PDM system (Metaphase).
Subject description
Particular attention is to be paid to the challenges of extreme job production, which primarily affect the procurement of subcontractor services. In addition to this, the order processing and controlling functions that were used previously in R/3 and Triton are to be harmonized.
