Within the framework of a group-wide implementation of SAP in an international trading company, support will be provided to the purchasing department for the documentation and planning of business processes. The focus will be on the modeling of processes in accordance with BPMN2.0 as well as methodological and technical quality assurance of existing models and documentation.
Supplement
Due to the high complexity of the processes and the interactions between them, along with the importance of the project for the group as a whole, the project will first be divided up into phases and project teams. The advisory activity includes the creation and development of the ACTUAL and TARGET processes in the framework of a detailed specification. This forms the basis for the data processing concept, which represents the technical implementation of the detailed specification. Documentation is created using the modeling tool Agilian and the BPMN 2.0 standard notation. Moreover, as part of a planned software change-over from Agilian to ARIS, an analysis of the capability of the models to be migrated and to function with ARIS will be carried out.
Subject description
The goal of the project is to set up a group-wide, standardized, target-oriented detail specification for the process modeling of the operative core business. All value-adding processes along the article life cycle should be fully modeled across all companies, including selected subsidiaries and activities abroad. The detailed specifications should produce cross-company synchronized processes with a uniform specification depth, and should contain all processes from quotation planning, to supplier and product range management, to the overall marketing plan, and the use of print and online media. The “Purchasing” sub-project is a basic precondition for the later technical planning and implementation, the migration, and the group-wide rollout of SAP.
