Brief description
Development of a prototype for re-engineering and redesigning a web-based online shop. The focus is on the technical migration to Microsoft .NET 2.0, and attention has to be paid to design matters.
Supplement
The customer requirements for the new concept and redesign of the existing online shop are analyzed. The functions that are derived from this are implemented by means of a prototype that covers the basic functions of an online shop. This includes a new design for the data model and using the new concepts from the .NET Framework (version 2.0).
Subject description
In addition to the technological modernization, proposals are implemented for redesigning the web shop and for improving its operation, on the basis of the commercial enterprise's existing corporate identify guidelines. The result is a customer-oriented prototype and a framework for implementing similar requirements.
