Prototype of forklift control system
Project duration: 3 months
Brief description
Adding control functions for material-handling vehicles to an inventory management system. In addition to the central control system, the mobile clients on the forklifts should be supported using a web application.
Supplement
Components for the communication between the control system connected to the inventory management system and the forklifts equipped with mobile data entry devices are developed on the basis of the .NET technology from Microsoft. Web-supported interfaces are provided for both the control systems and the mobile clients.
Subject description
The goal of the project is the paperless control of the forklifts and order pickers during receipts of goods, stock removals, relocations, picking, and inventory.
