Brief description
Requirements analysis for software to support the implementation of the REMIT ordinance at an energy corporation, as well as an expense analysis for certification with ACER as a self-reporter (RRM).
Supplement
The customer runs a datawarehouse system based on SAP BW which generates all reports necessary to comply with all branch specific reporting obligations. Several individual systems transmit data to the datawarehouse, e.g. capacity data, transport contracts, nomination and allocation data, gas flow data from the transmission system. Change requirements to the existing reporting solution to comply with the REMIT obligation should be analyzed and documented. These requirements should then lead later to IT specifications for changing processes and system components.
Subject description
The customer is already complying with branch specific data publication and reporting obligations, using a central reporting system solution based on SAP BW. As part of the project REMIT / Transparency we should analyze how far the actual organisation and IT systems are already implemented to realize a full compliance with the REMIT obligation, especially in the areas of collecting and publishing insider information as well as transmitting fundamental and transaction data to the european agency ACER. Beyond this, the requirements of a certification as Registred Reporting Mechanism (RRM) should be analyzed too, with the aim to transmit the obligation data of the own company or of other market participants directly to the ACER.
