SAP BW: Access rights for sales organization

Brief description
In the course of internationalization and simultaneous expansion of online business, the existing analysis authorization model will be extended to the sales organization. The conversion will be carried out by PTA in consultation with the customer's responsible person in the day-to-day operation of BW 7.4 on HANA.

More than 600 of the more than 1000 existing evaluations and the majority of the more than 300 users are affected by the extension. Since this is to take place during operation, special attention must be paid to the planning and sequence of activities in order to ensure trouble-free operation.
Subject description
The application, which was originally focused on Germany and sales in the specialist centres, was based on the authorisations of the specialist centre (branch office, plant). With the internationalisation (several EU and non-EU countries) and the simultaneous expansion of online trade, this is reaching its limits due to the resulting' crossover relationships'. By activating the sales organization as an additional authorization-relevant component, you can make the business relationships more transparent and coherent.
