The competitor product data comes from various CRM systems, in specific local forms. This regionally heterogeneous data is combined via an EAI interface (SeeBeyond), synchronized at a central location and then assigned to a global product hierarchy. This makes it possible to segment products from different manufacturers and to compare them to the company’s in-house products. The core concept of the application is customized analysis and deriving sales promoting measures on the basis of the machines installed at the customer’s site (in-house and third-party products).
