Supplement
In a plant engineering group, the application system used in one group company for recording times at construction sites is to be enhanced. This application has a mobile component and a back office component that are to be enhanced to make it possible to enter not only time management data but also basic data for triggering by assembly fitters. An alternative solution developed by Virtic is evaluated, which uses mobile phones via SaaS (software as a Service).
Subject description
The analysis shows that the time management and trigger data are so closely interlinked that the concept deals with both enhancing time management and additional entry of trigger data. Whereas it is mainly entry screens that are provided in the mobile components (cell phones as MDE devices), when the data is imported to the SAP system, the collective agreement regulations should be included, so that the corresponding remuneration can be accounted in HCM to settle the expenses for room and board. The decision for virtic allows to use the rules in this application.
