Sending emails for quotation documents

Brief description
In the quotation system, the user can send a quotation document directly to an interested party by email. The application runs in a Citrix terminal server environment with an upstream portal for user management and authentication. The portal is responsible for sending emails in the back end. A REST interface needs to be implemented to enable authorized users to send emails from the terminal server session.
Supplement
The portal is expanded to include a REST interface for sending emails. In the application on the terminal servers, a component is developed to call up this interface and transfer the parameters for sending: sender, recipient, optional copy recipient, email text, attachments. A dialog is also implemented for writing the email; this dialog determines the data for interested parties and users in order to automatically fill in as much information for the email as possible. To fulfill the security requirements, the attached document is encrypted.
Subject description
In a quotation and interested parties management system, external insurance brokers can create quotations for private customers and companies. There are more than 40 products available here. After generating the quotation document, the user is to have the option in the print dialog of forwarding the document directly to the customer by email.
