Brief description

For a large German insurance company, the registration of end customers to various digital services for the insurance agent is to be standardized and simplified.

A central interface will be created to enable a standalone software with a local database to log on to various services. This also includes the collection and transmission of the necessary communication data such as mobile phone number and e-mail address. For this purpose, the REST service of the central identity management is called.

Subject description

In the past, there were different ways for the representative to register the end customer for different digital services. These included, for example, logging on to an online portal to view contracts and process personal data, receiving information via SMS or e-mail on the processing status of transactions, communicating via e-mail instead of letters, and granting advertising permission. This project changes this so that the registrations requested by the insurance customer are only initiated in one step by the insurance agent and the further process steps are carried out by the customer. This makes the process clearer and faster. As long as the process has not been completed, there is a status display for the representative.
