Starting and enhancement of central user management
Brief description
Starting of central user management (central data retention and synchronization services with Windows Active Directory and the authentication solution IDCenter from Siemens) and inclusion of programming interfaces for querying user authorizations of managed systems. Also, a Web Service is created to enable controlling of the interface functionality from the application interface.
Supplement
The authorization queries are made using special database functionalities (stored procedures) and an additional Web service (WCF service). Controlling of the interface functionality (standard operation as a Windows task) is performed via a WCF service that is triggered from the Access application interface.
Subject description
The enhancements make it possible to implement ad-hoc synchronizations at short notice based on user requests. Programming interfaces to query user authorizations can be used to efficiently meet the requirement for central authorization management.
