Brief description
An Excel-based planning tool for the textile trade is taken on for further development and support. In addition to first level support, optimization and enhancements are carried out.
Supplement
The application is developed in Office VBA (Microsoft Excel 2003) with access to MS Access and SQL Server 2005 (via ODBC).
Subject description
The actual data is transferred from a Retail system's data warehouse to an MS SQL Server database. The planning functions are made available to the persons responsible for the sales areas in the form of MS Excel.
