Support for IT migration

Brief description
After a company takeover, the whole of financial accounting has to be migrated from SAP to an individual American software. Additionally, a migration from PAISY Host to PAISY C/S is necessary.
Supplement
The previous IT systems, based on MVS host and SAP R/2, are to be replaced in the areas of accounting and human resources management. Individual programs based in part on client/server and in part on host solutions are to be used as the new system for accounting and the new human resources system will be a PAISY client/server solution. Data that has accumulated in the past is to be migrated, taking account of all the legal requirements.
Subject description
In addition to detailed explanations of German accounting regulations, functional requirements also need to be forwarded to the American developers of individual programs; these requirements include central regulation (MARKANT), bonus processing and other special features of German retail. Communication and documentation were in English only. The legal rules, collective agreements and rules based on bargaining agreements in the HR area also need to be explained to the American team members.
