Support for remote connection
Project duration: 5 months
Brief description
Changeover of data reconciliation between remote workplaces and the central agency network from a batch procedure to a permanently running procedure based on exchanging messages. On the network side, the ZeroMQ communication framework is used to logically interconnect remote locations with the agency network.
Supplement
The new, permanently running process for data reconciliation is based on two background services that operate independently of each other, from a technical perspective. One is responsible for determining the changes to be reconciled. The other deals exclusively with exchanging the change messages.
Subject description
For agents, an important component of the sales process and customer support is access to data about customers, their contracts and products that is as up-to-date as possible. It is therefore particularly important that this is also available outside local agency networks.
