Brief description

Territory management is to be implemented for the UK Sales Unit. By assigning a regional structure (Regional Structure Group) to a post code range, business partners and sales offices can be stored in customer systems. The purpose of this assignment is to implement a commission system for sales employee remuneration. Additionally, a special form for internal use was created on the basis of a sales document.

The old system (AS/400) will be replaced in the UK Sales Unit. For this reason, all of the processes must be mapped in SAP. A report was created to implement Territory Management. This report automatically makes all the relevant changes to the address area of the customer master and to "open" sales documents when the assignment of a Regional Structure Group to a post code range is changed. Standard report RFBIDE00 is used to update sales offices and sales employees in the customer master. The address data is updated by means of function module ADDR_UPDATE. The British address data shall be validated by means of a CD with post codes; the post codes can be uploaded to the SAP system using a report. Smart Forms technology is used to implement the form because the customer requirements (Excel-type layout or colored background) can only be implemented using this technology.

Subject description

Territory Management will provide the basis for the sales employees' commission system. A rollout for other sales units is planned. The form is for internal use only; some of the data it contains must not be viewed by customers.
